Quite often the only time we mention customer service is when it has fallen short in some way. We’ll complain in a hot minute if something’s not right, or we feel wronged by some incident, but I want to highlight some excellent service I’ve received recently. In the past year, I’ve needed repairs and servicing for my vehicles. I’ve had the work done at Visalia’s “GoodGuys”, on Mooney Blvd.
I’ve needed brakes, tires replaced and A/C repairs done on my car and truck, and have nothing but good things to say about the staff at GoodGuys, and their work. No high pressure to buy top of the line tires (over something more suited to my needs and cost considerations), no ‘upsell’ of other services that I didn’t need, and friendly interactions through it all.
When a replacement part failed, they replaced it under warranty, and had me on my way quickly. When another part related to the original repair failed, they again took the vehicle in and fixed it, not charging me for the work. (I want to make clear that the parts that failed were due to manufacturer problems, and are in no way a reflection on the their work.)
I am very satisfied with both the way the treated me, even as I kept having to return, and with the quality of their work. I believe they went above and beyond what most of us would expect, and I’m a very satisfied customer. (one bit of advice – if they tell you the tires on your pickup are on the verge of failing, and should be replaced, believe them. Having a tire decide to come apart at the seams is not fun. Especially at 70mph. On Highway 99. In traffic. In the fast lane. It makes for an exciting few seconds. I don’t recommend it.)
My thanks and regards to the staff at GoodGuys. I’ll be back. (just not soon, I hope!)
